Turtle Back Zoo Docents are volunteers that go through an extensive training course to learn all about our zoo and its animals. Docents are stationed throughout the zoo and can be identified by their royal blue zoo shirts. They’re here because they love the zoo and love to answer questions, please feel free to approach these wandering educators and ask them about the zoo or the biofacts that they may be holding. The 2010 class is currently complete. Applications for the 2011 class will be accepted beginning in January.
