Sophisticated Science Seminar

Scientific Exploration for Teens and Adults!

Sophisticated Science Seminars are conservation programs geared towards more adult audiences. These programs are perfect for individuals interested in animals, science, conservation, and nature. Available to individuals age 14-104, this program includes a visit to the South Mountain Reservation, Reservoir, or Zoo as weather permits. These are in-person sessions held in the Berson Family Center. Fee is $30/person. Program fee does not include separate zoo admission.

Meet at the Berson Family Center as early as 12:50pm; the program begins promptly at 1pm. Please make sure you dress comfortably for the outdoors and bring a reusable water bottle. We will go outside in light rain or snow as long as it is safe. Severe weather including thunder and lightening will keep the group indoors for the duration of the program.

Cancellations
In order to receive a refund, cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled date and time; no refunds will be given less than 7 days before the event. TBZ reserves the right to cancel a program for any reason. In the case of a cancellation made by TBZ, registered individuals will be contacted and a full refund will be provided.
